Well Life is an outpatient mental health private practice located in Baltimore, Maryland. We are committed to supporting individuals and families on the journey to mental wellness. We strive to create a warm and welcoming experience that allows every client to feel heard, valued, and supported. Our mental health services are available to children and adults.

Ashley Watkins, a native of Baltimore City, is a dedicated psychiatric mental health provider at Well Life. Her impressive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Coppin State University, a Master of Science in Nursing with a Concentration in Nursing Education from Morgan State University, and a Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner's Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. Ashley is also board-certified to diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions across all age groups.

With over two decades of experience in patient care, Ashley has developed a comprehensive understanding of holistic client care. Her diverse nursing expertise spans various healthcare settings, such as inpatient/outpatient substance use treatment, outpatient mental health, acute medicine, outpatient surgery, correctional medicine, home health, case management, and hospice care.

Ashley's personal experiences with mental health and addiction has significantly influenced her approach as an educator and practitioner. This first-hand experience has granted her a unique perspective on the challenges faced by families and the profound impact of these issues on the broader community. She recognizes the importance of education and possesses a deep understanding of the essential resources required to ensure adequate access to healthcare services.

In addition to her professional commitments, Ashley prioritizes self-care by indulging in her passions. Crafting and art have always held a special place in her heart, and she is exceptionally adept at expressing herself through activities like painting, sewing, and creative innovation. She firmly believes that art serves as a therapeutic and rehabilitative outlet, fostering self-esteem and promoting effective communication.
